Gaining Entry
Inevitable we sometimes misplace our keys, have them stolen or lock ourselves out of the house. Lock Replacement
Far too many doors are out of alignment or badly adjusted and eventually in all cases the inevitable happens and the centrecase (gearbox) breaks. If the door can not be opened once it is closed that just adds to the repair costs. It is far better (and cheaper) to align the door before the lock goes. If a lock is not operating correctly DO NOT ENGAGE THE LOCKS OR LOCK THE DOOR UNTILL IT HAS BEEN REPAIRED. Again we stock replacements for all popular makes and also some unpopular ones as well so that we can get you secured again as soon as possible.

Changing Locks
In some circumstances you may feel it necessary to change the locks to your home / business. In these circumstances we will attend the property and survey required locks. Many locks are held in stock and can be replaced on the first day of attendance, alternatively we will be able to order any more specialised locks and arrange a convenient date / time to return and fit these for you.
Upgrading Locks
There may be some circumstances where you feel you need to upgrade the security / locks on your home or business premises. We are more than happy to attend the property and offer any advice and suggestions that will give you peace of mind to increase your security. Sometimes locks can be upgraded there and then or alternatively we will order in the items required and return at a convenient time to you to complete the work.
Failed Locking Mechanisms
At the back of the handle there is a small alloy casting which drives a gear cog to lock the window mechanism. These are prone to breaking if anything obstructs the locking pins. We hold stock of a number of mechanisms so that we can quickly and effectively repair the window. Alternatively the required mechanism can be ordered and fitted on a return visit.

In more difficult circumstances you may find that you require attendance of a Locksmith / Glazier to make your property safe following damage from Burglary or similar.
